John Shoop

Raiderfans.net has learned that Offensive Coordinator John Walsh has been replaced by Oakland Raiders Tight Ends coach John Shoop. Shoop is in his second season with the Silver and Black. Shoop is no newbie to the NFL and has over 10…

John is Bill’s brother so for now, we’re loyal Raider’s fans.  Not that we’re not Steeler’s fans–that can’t be shed from one’s self like a fall jacket.  But neither can the whole brother thing…So, Go Raiders!ÂÂ

Bill’s other brother Bob is coaching for U. Mass.  They’re in the second round of the playoffs.  How awesome is that?   (Photo to be added when kids aren’t stabbing at the keyboard)

Go Raiders and U Mass!  We await the good news.

  1. Well cool! But you know what’s very weird? Jim’ best friend from college is in town and last night we were discussing Bob Shoop because he (jim’s friend) played for him in his senior year at Yale. (Bob was a defensive coordinator there for a year, I think?) He came up because we may be playing UMass in the I-AA playoffs if we beat S.Illinois today (and if UMass beats UNH). Incidentally, Jim’s brother was at Yale the same time as Bob, too – I missed him by a couple years. So how about that?

  2. WOW! That’s amazing…very very weird, too. Well, U Mass won so that’s great. Where’s the game next weekend? I’ll check in to see if you won this weekend…that would be something, huh?
