by Greenday. One of my all-time favorite songs.
This blog is almost officially a poorly done study of pop-culture. For now, that’s all that strikes me at all.
Anyway, the montage that was put together to end the Seinfeld series (and set to Time of Your Life) makes me tear up.
Seeing those guys laughing it up, loving each other, makes me want to be on a sitcom so bad I can taste it. Granted it would need to be on par with Seinfeld. Oh, who am I kidding? I’d like Seinfeld back with me as the fifth friend.
I get the notion that most actors and actresses live a modest life. But boy when these big boys go off the air and they do their little montages, it just looks like being on a successful sitcom is the cream of the job crop–everyone cracking each other up, bloopering away, relaxing on set…almost like being a stay-at-home mom.
I choose Cheers. I wouldn’t feel quit as Ugly Stepchild surrounded by Kirstie Alley and Carla.
cheers, very good, Mignon. A strong commitment to avoidance tactics…love those guys.
My speed is more The Golden Girls. Seriously. I love watching the reruns. Nothing like four old gals in girdles taking on the world.
I agree with Golden Girls. We used to watch that in college when the last show that should have interested us was that. I think the women and their problems are timeless, spans decades of women…good pick, Mindy.
Well, The Bunions are kinda like the Golden Girls – crabby, stretch-marked, and boy do we have a mouth!
