No, it is, but I’m not submitting a photo because I have the same 12 pounds to talk about and the same knees to stare at!!! Seriously, I’m not complaining. I’m glad to maintain the loss and will press on.
But for today, here’s my gardener daughter and our lovely neighbor who is always kind and patient as she works with Beth in the yard…Hope all is well…
On the agenda–perhaps Fat Saturday and def. Plot-Talk Tuesday. That sounds good.
Oh holy crap. Kathie, I’ve been reading your blog from back in the day, and now in its newest form, and have always enjoyed you/it/your writing. I’m sorry I’ve been a slacker commenter. It’s a disease, this reticence, I guess. Anyway, I support you in all your quest for smaller knees. I should quest for a less ugly thigh-rubbing area, but that skin is permanently damaged from having kids and being too fat during the growing of the children and I’ve given up on it. But I think your quest is valid and hooray for all your marked improvement!
Anyway, about the “oh holy crap.” My daughter changed into The Exact Same Outfit this afternoon when she got home from school. Same shorts, same tank, and same pink hat (it’s a Life Is Good hat, with a horse on the front – please tell me your daughter’s is the same). I know, right?
Ah, gardening will be my reward after my writing camp. Can’t wait to plant hundreds of annuals. (I know I’m late, but they stay beautiful, all the way through September!) What a special photo of your daughter and your neighbor. I love it!
I’ve been gardening all day long and I’m ready to drop. But looking at that photo makes me want to run back into my backyard and start digging some more. I’m hooked badly, that’s for sure. Does your little girl really like gardening? That is so cool! I can’t get my kids interested in it at all — too much work…
