11,843 words done!

That’s right…I’m plugging away.
Not sure where the story’s going, exactly, but it’s cracking me up.
And for now, that’s good enough.

Cool. I am so amazed (envious?) at how fast the words flow for you. Glad it is going well and fun!

  2. Jill says:

I’m glad you’re having fun. I was just talking about this with Eric the other day — I don’t think I could do it! Seriously. I’m amazed at your “word flow.”

  3. Kathie says:

Thanks for your thoughts…for me this is the easiest part of writing. It’s just a good fit. If they did a Revise Your Novel Month, I’d be considerably less chipper. How are your projects coming? Jill–your novel and serial fiction? Susan–your novel?

  4. Susan says:

I’m targeting Xmas/New Year’s to complete the whole first draft, and I’m feeling confident I can do it. (This wasn’t the case a month ago.) I’m at that point where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I have this “itch” to finish it!

  5. Kathie says:

That’s great Susan…I can’t wait to read it.

  6. Jill says:

    Thanks for asking, Kathie……

Actually, I’m so excited about the way the serial is turning out that I don’t want to serialize it! That’s why I haven’t mentioned it lately in my blog (*blush*). I think I want to finish it and polish it and pitch it! I don’t even have a title for it yet…I keep saving chapters as “UNTITLED Chapter 3″ — lol. So now I’m wondering if I need to begin yet another story, and make THIS one the serial. I’m not sure if I can take on yet another story!! Unless, of course, hubby decides to hire me a fulltime housekeeper, laundress, and governess…. ;)

  7. Kathie says:

Housekeeper, laundress, governess…how’d you get my Christmas list, Jill? That’s great you’re so happy with the way your chapters are going…def. propose that one…At some point, you might need something else to think about and you might start another serial…keep me posted!
