Life is Good

It doesn’t matter that it’s -7 degrees without wind chill,
that he’s stuck in the house most of the day,
that his furry coat will only go so far in keeping him warm,
that he has no boots.

The guy’s just happy to be alive.

I’ll take a note.

Kathie – thanks for the comment on my story entry. I really appreciate it. I’m really happy you liked it.

It’s cold here in central pa too. Weather Channel says it “feels like” -15.

    Cute puppy pic :)

Aw, what a cutie! A friend of mine once told me a child’s job is bliss. Looks like that goes for dogs too.

I always liked the song Dog and Butterfly by Heart. To me it captured the essence of the picture you have shown here. I don’t know why but when I hear it, and I’m in just the right mood, it makes me want to cry. I suppose it’s lost innocence.

He’s adorable. Dogs have a way of putting everything into perspective for us.

So how do we explain those “Polar Bear Club” members? The one’s I’ve seen don’t have fur. I think I’ll stay indoors until April, getting sick of shoveling already.

Jaye, I think you’re onto something…now to channel a bit of it into my life.
Scott, I agree, that song is moody to say the least–lost innocence–heavy stuff, but right on.
Anti-wife–dogs do put things in perspective, it forces me to slow down and gives me a chance to let my mind wander instead of rushing to the next thing. I’ve really missed being forced outside several times a day–didn’t realize it until we got another dog.
Ray, I think those polar bear creature people are sort of dog like, rolling around frigid water as though it’s perfectly normal! Thanks for commenting…
