SHOOPAPALOOZA DRAWS TO AN END…

If I were a better blogger, I’d have chronicled all seven days that Bill’s brothers and their families were in Pittsburgh.  But, as my faithful, wonderful readers know, sometimes I suck.

But I do torture myself with heavy doses of guilt and self-loathing for being such a blogging slacker.  And between Shoopfest and the weekend critique conference I attended right before the Shoop-circus began, I’ve written nothing in terms of my novel either.  But the break was necessary, I’m anxious to get back to work.

Anyway, I’m back and with plenty in the tabs, on tv, and the hot weather to fuel lots of biting commentary, I think I’ll do just fine the next month or so before going to Kiawah Island, SC.  Now that’s a vacation.

Had fun at Shoopfest and missed everyone here.  I owe two posts in the next two weeks–the bra research and the poet–coming soon.

Welcome back. Summer is such a hard time to keep up with blogging.
