For the most part I jot notes for my novels-in-progress into little purse-sized notebooks and each novel I’ve written has it’s own notebook. Today, when we arrived at the pool, I realized I only brought half of my bathing suit–the top half–and couldn’t go in, obviously.
Jake questioned me on why I couldn’t partake in the cool blue pool and I told him what happened.

Check out this video of prisoners in the Philippines.
 I kind of like it. I mean, when you look at the video and see the sheer number of prisoners performing Thriller as though they’re getting out of jail tomorrow and the paparazzi are waiting to snap their picture for Us Magazine, it’s really quite stunning.

This…is fantastic to see because it’s human nature to want the rest of the world to be as plain as you are.
Okay, Faith Hill is still stunning even without the Redbook Photoshop situation, but boy, she’s a hell of a lot more ordinary than the finished cover implies.
