Vociferous…

Okay, I don’t know what your political leanings are, but whenever I hear that word now I think of Bush saying during one of the debates, “The enemy understands a free Iraq will be a major defeat in their ideology of hatred. That’s why they’re fighting so vociferously.” (Direct quote from About.com.) We laughed until we cried. “Um, maybe he meant vehemently?” I suggested, while a friend suggested he meant violently and my husband opted for vigorously. But vociferously? If only…
I like it Caryn. Good call. I’m more liberal than not, but I wish for his sake and ours, that Bush could get this word usage thing together.
